We're Still Here...
May 12, 2009 | 1:52PM
We haven't had any updates for some time now. Things have been busy in my other life (I'm a teacher) but def.i.ni.ción is still here, getting the word out about our partner organizations, raising money for them, and selling t-shirts. We haven't had any new designs but are looking to get some new shirts out come summer. Check out the current lineup and get yourself a shirt or two. Some of them are just $10!

Let us know how you're doing. Would love to hear from you. Drop us a line through our contact page.

That's all folks!

Until next then!

Happy New Year
January 8, 2009 | 6:01PM

Happy 2009 everyone. I hope the new year is unfolding quite nicely for you.

First off, I'd like to give a shout out to Angry Asian Man. He was kind enough to blog about def.i.ni.ción so check him out. Good stuff to be found at his blog. Click here to get to his blog. If you believe in what we're trying to do with our clothing, then please feel free to blog about us just as Angry Asian Man did. Facebook, myspace, email, IM all your buddies about def.i.ni.ción.

We're also collaborating with EITC on a shirt. EITC's mission: a national coalition whose mission is to prevent sexual violence and human trafficking via the internet. The EITC achieves this by providing a platform for links between nonprofit, governmental, law enforcement, faith-based, and student grassroots agencies and individuals to advocate an accessible worldwide web where children, youth, and adults are better protected from human trafficking in all its forms.

Check out the drafts above and feel free to send a message about what you think.

Finally, if you're in the OC area and are free tomorrow night, stop by UCI at 7pm, for OneHeart OC. It'll be an evening of art, poetry, film, and music benefiting victims of human trafficking in Orange County. The event will be at the Social Science Lecture Hall. Click here for more info.

That's the news for now. Spread the word and be good.

Bringing light to women and children caught up in the sex trade in Bangkok, Thailand

It is Identification. Personality. Individual expression. Solidarity. Commitment and responsibility. It is theological and spiritual but engaged with the physical. Cultural but not bound by culture. Anomalous. Sublime and fallible. It makes a statement about the self and about the world.
